The investigation was featured on MSNBC and reporter Simon Boazman discussed its findings. It was also covered on local TV news stations in Minnesota.
Middle East Monitor described the investigation as “shocking”. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, the country’s largest Muslim organisation, said the investigation was “an invaluable expose of a multi-million dollar Islamophobia network.”
The civil rights’ group, Southern Poverty Law Center, said it was a “timely investigation examining the organized and well-funded anti-Muslim movement and the challenges it poses to a just and inclusive society in the Trump era.”
